Assassin's Creed Valhalla is an action role-playing video game developed and published by Ubisoft. It was released in November 2020 for Microsoft Windows, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X/S, and Stadia. The game is the twelfth main installment in the Assassin's Creed series and is set in the ninth century AD during the Viking Age.

In the game, players assume the role of Eivor, a Viking raider who leads a group of Vikings from Norway to England in search of a new home. The game features open-world exploration, combat, and various RPG elements, including character customization, skill trees, and a settlement-building system.

The game also incorporates the Assassin's Creed series' signature stealth and parkour gameplay mechanics, as well as a new combat system that allows players to dual-wield a variety of weapons, including axes, swords, and shields. The game also includes a story that features both historical and fictional elements, with Eivor interacting with historical figures such as Alfred the Great and Ivar the Boneless.

Assassin's Creed Valhalla received generally positive reviews from critics, who praised its visuals, gameplay mechanics, and story, although some criticized its pacing and technical issues. The game has also been a commercial success, with Ubisoft reporting that it had the biggest launch in the franchise's history.
