 Grand Theft Auto V (GTA V) is a popular open-world action-adventure video game developed by Rockstar North and published by Rockstar Games. It was released in September 2013 for PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360, and later in November 2014 for PlayStation 4 and Xbox One, and in April 2015 for Microsoft Windows.




The game is set in the fictional state of San Andreas, which is based on Southern California, and features three playable protagonists: Michael De Santa, Franklin Clinton, and Trevor Philips. The story follows their attempts to carry out a series of heists while under pressure from a corrupt government agency and rival criminals.



GTA V allows players to explore the vast open world, participate in various missions, and engage in a wide range of activities, such as driving vehicles, shooting weapons, and interacting with non-playable characters.




The game also features an online multiplayer mode, where players can team up with others to complete missions, participate in races and other challenges, and engage in various forms of player-versus-player combat.
